YOU DON’T HAVE TO “FEEL” LIKE YOU BELONG

Are you waiting for your feelings to approve what already is?

Are you waiting on things to confirm your belonging within God’s family and Kingdom?

You’ve taken the appropriate steps with Him. You are developing a relationship or already have strong roots in Him. You have decided to listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit regarding the direction you’ll go, and where you will follow.

Are you waiting on a feeling to confirm your belonging?

God calls you to each and every one of your waking breaths. He calls you to purpose at the rising of every sun. You do not have to wait to be assigned to life, and a life of abundance in order to pursue it. It is your God given right to pursue all that God has for you and all that you have the faith for.

No matter your starting place or point, remind yourself that you are permitted a good life. You do not need the approval of another in order to pursue that good life.

The good life is for who so ever will;

pursue it, run after it, acquire it, obtain it and the like. You are not in line waiting on God to approve of you. If you are where you need to be spiritually and faith wise; God will and can match whatever you bring to Him. He promises to exceed your offering as well as your ask.

He doesn’t lie. It’s a truth that I love to hold onto. In a world full of lies and, one consumed with little white lies; God does not lie. He isn’t lying to you or anyone else either. He tells you the truth, all of the time.

Now back to your feelings;

Have they been tricking you? Are they like a yo-yo? Are you certain one day and then mind boggled the next? Have you been taken on an emotional roller coaster? Are you finding yourself not knowing what to believe one moment from the next? Are those who you are in communication with not making it any better? Do they have their own narrative about things and would like for you to believe “that”, regarding your belonging as well?

Are you being gaslight or are you just too much into

your head about it all?

What about actually belonging baffles you? What about your acceptance being already solidified confuses you?

Is the deeper rooted issue found in identity? Is unbelief something that you struggle with? What has you believing that you would have to work towards the being acceptable for the good, perfect and pleasing life that God has for you?

Others may try to convince you that you have to strive for a relationship with them but God is different. Every relationship has different requirements.

He created you for relationship with Himself, you don’t have to beg Him to commune with you; He already wants to. You don’t have to beg God to be kind to you either, He already chooses you. You don’t have to convince God to stick up for you, He has already decided on His thoughts towards you. You do not have to ask God to be present in your life, He has already decided on walking through life, with you. God is not a far off God; He has already committed His presence to you with Him. He loves to be the God you are depending on. He delights in your need of Him.

Don’t wait on a feeling to confirm your belonging, trust in the truth concerning all matters.

You were made to pursue God in peace. We weren’t just made to know God, we were made to experience Him, but it isn’t supposed to be complicated…

“SINCE THEN”

“from that time forward…”

“within that time.”

“therefore, since…”

Since you were told that no one is coming to save you how have you seen God move in your life?

Since you were told that no one will relieve and revive you how have you experienced God refresh your soul?

Here’s a reminder that you are in the exact place that you need to be in order for God to show up in your life. You are exactly where you need to be in order for Him to change things. You are exactly where you need to be in order for God to shift what needs to be shifted in your life. You are exactly where you need to be in order for a real life miracle to occur.

Here is your reminder that you are surrounded by a cloud of well doing witnesses. You are surrounded by those who have ran their race and those who have ran it well.

You are surrounded by those who have lived to tell the testimony of God’s faithfulness to them. You are surrounded by good reports.

Since then, since they told you that you couldn’t do what you have actually done? Since then, you are no longer entangled to or with the opinions of other people. What will you do with your new found freedom?

How will you use it, and what for?

How will you engage with the wind beneath the wings you already have?

How will you thrive?

How will you soar?

If you couldn’t lose what would you do?

If your success was guaranteed what would you hold on to? What would you hone into?

God is so for you! He is so after His purposes for your life. Don’t be let down by unbelief; be unrecognizably hopeful and optimistic in this year. God will shock you as you journey on into your pursuits within this year. You are more than capable and God sees you as good.

ON THE HORIZON

So, what’s next? Where is He taking you? Are you ready?

Have you got it planned?

How’s the prepping?

Is step by step more your speed?

Is tuning into God’s frequency what you lean on?

Both ways are appropriate. Noah was given step by step and cubit by cubit instructions on how to build an instrument that he had never seen before. He built according to God’s specific instructions provided to him.

David prepped the materials, the money, and, the supplies for the temple, (God’s house) before a slab of marble was laid out on His behalf. God told David who would build His temple and how everything was to be built. David made sure to withhold no expense pertaining to the building of the house.

Moses was assigned the responsibility of spearheading the victory and freedom movement of God’s people from being enslaved by the Egyptians. God instructed Moses step by step in what to do and what would happen or transpire in order for His plan to come to fruition and in order for God’s people to be set free. God provided daily provision for His people as they sojourned towards their promised land.

God told Abraham to exit His tent in order to number the ways that He would bless him all by counting the number of the stars. God told Abraham to go and that is when Abraham would receive further instruction and guidance on where he was to go; resulting in him being dubbed the father of faith amidst the family of believers.

God is known for allowing what would otherwise be considered under qualified and overlooked to be just the thing or just the person(s) He’d choose for accomplishing His will. God is the Only One with all of the information and He uses that information to accomplish what He purposes and plans.

He either downloads all of the information into you all at once, He will distribute what is needed to you step by step and along the way or He gives you the liberty to decide what you will do and the way you will accomplish what is His will for your life. He gives you free will to follow Him or not to. He leads you along the way as you inquire of Him.

So what is He leading you to next? Where is He taking you and what further instructions has He left you with?

Are you confident in His leading and ability to lead you among greener pastures, quiet water and peaceful streams? Are you in tuned with the way He is leading you? Do you trust that He will be the One that will lead you all of the way along your journey?

So, what’s next? Where is he taking you? Are you ready?

You were made to pursue God in peace. We weren’t just made to know God, we were made to experience Him, but it isn’t supposed to be complicated…

“BUT NO ONES GOING TO CATCH YOU…”

“but no one’s going to catch you…”

How many times have you heard the phrase?

How many times have you recited it over and over to yourself?

I get it, I get the need to reassure yourself that if “this” doesn’t work out it is all riding on you. I get the “tough love” pep talk and it’s mantras…

This may be an unpopular response but I’ll say it anyways:

God will and,

God does.

“but no one’s going to catch you…”

say it with me:

“God will and,

God does.”

In the most literal of senses and in the figurative sense as well.

Here’s the thing, God’s “will”, His sovereignty, and His overarching plan for you has always been predestined on the basis of Him catching you. Literally and figuratively, in the natural and in the spiritual. He’s planned to grab and catch your soul from the literal pits of hell and then He figuratively has willed nothing but good things for your life following this. The Bible literally describes God’s plans to prosper you and not to harm you, it goes as far as to say the the blessings of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow. (proverbs 10:22)

So according to the Bible you can literally as well as figuratively desire a rich life. What does richness described and defined look like to you?

We are made to believe that we are in this thing alone. We are made to believe that we as in “you” are all that you’ve got. Here’s the thing, God’s plans for you always included Him rescuing you, rescuing you from you and then, rescuing you from others decisions that somehow happen to include you.

Here’s the truth of the matter no one else may be coming for you or attempting to catch you; but in covenant and relationship with God, you can always expect Him to. He wants you to expect His catch, that if you were to step out, He is and, will always be the One that comes running to your rescue.

Be assured that Jesus is coming, that Jesus is going to catch you, and that Jesus is the One who anticipated your success before you even stepped out to begin with.

Jesus is the One who has willed for you to be greater. He is the One who stepped out on God’s plan for His life first, assuring that you could too.

“but no one’s going to catch you…”

say it with me:

“God will and,

God does.”

Among Lilies: What Do You Do When?

What do you do when the lilies don’t get you?

When you are among them and misunderstood at the same time

Can you rest even in uncertainty?

What provides you with comfort and ease?

Do you care to be understood?

What grinds your gears in the process?

Are you honest about the things you feel?

What helps you resolve matters?

and How do you find the peace it takes to move forward amidst all that seems to want you to remain stuck?

Here’s the thing, some would much rather you remain unsure about you, than for you to bring up uncertainties and specific feelings.

Some would rather you be confused than accompany you through the uprooting of the traditional conversations motions and jargons. Some would rather sweep the apparent issues of life under a rug and bring attention to what would be found on the side of the shallow end.

This can all be acceptable, but not at the expense of your clarity and resolving of matters important to you. Sometimes we don’t understand what is needed from others that we are in relationship with, and other times we understand that more may be asked of us or that more is required; and while in these relationships we may or may not be willing to provide the revised requirements or lists of things to the other parties amidst us. We want everyone to feel comfortable and if there are unidentified elephants in the room that can be avoided, we’d rather avoid them.

Here is your reminder that, at times you may need to address things that others may choose to overlook. You may have to bend what might be considered the status quo in order to get to the root issue of a thing. You may have to be the only one raising a question and asking for clarity. You may also have to ruffle a few feathers in the process of you coming to a settlement within.

God is not opposed to your questions. He doesn’t look down on your need for more details and pursuits of a sense of reassurance. God responds to your questions with His promises, He responds to your questions with answers. And although, being among the lilies proves to be more peaceful and settling than anywhere else; it is important to note that you can have questions and require more answers in what may appear to be the safest of places. You can be unsure and pursue more or what is greater even among the things you should be “grateful” for, grateful to be part of or, grateful to have witnessed. Here’s your reminder that gratitude and oblivion does not solve every problem or complaint. Here’s a reminder that shooing problems “under the rug” doesn’t automatically check them off as being resolved. Here’s a reminder that you can question and remain amidst what is safe and secure at the same time. Here’s is your reminder that transparency and honesty can prove to be “just what the doctor ordered” so to speak and, you don’t need everyone else to approve of it first and before you get to decide upon and, choose your own feelings.

You are entitled to be on a different page of the book entirely; without presuming that their blank stares and lack of a response to your unsettling spirit are acceptable enough a reason for you to just move on. Here is a reminder that it is perfectly acceptable to think differently regarding a matter than others do and, agree to disagree in the process of transformation and the time it takes to arrive at the appropriate realizations.

What do you do when, God is not annoyed with you but, others might be?

You address it other ways. You exist more than quietly in and amidst uncertainties anyway. You address responsibly and appropriately what others choose to ignore anyways.

You were made to pursue God in peace. We weren’t just made to know God, we were made to experience Him, but it isn’t supposed to be complicated…

Among Lilies: It’s Holy Week & Something Feels Off

I’d consider it a God wink of some sort if things do. If for some reason Holy Week feels a bit off to you, it might be, because it should.

Maybe there’s some sort of fog over you spiritually. You can’t quite put your finger on it, but you are not your usual self. Maybe there are things pulling you in a million and one directions and you’d like nothing more than to just be still with God.

Maybe there are pressing matters that need to be dealt with and you are the decision maker; you are the one who moves the needle and everything is depending on the moves that you make next. How coincidental? The week where there is so much mystery, and so many things that are up in the air for the disciples and Christ followers of Jesus’s day. How coincidental, that things would be in sorts of a disarray for you too; not at the place of disaster but definitely on the brinks of, or possibly coasting.

How convenient. When all you want to do is curl up under the One who created you or throw the covers right back over your head each morning. You are deciding to go with the motions of not completely understanding, and also being willing to be misunderstood.

”It’s completely ok!” or at least it will be, are the words you repeat over and over, and over to yourself each day. The devil seems to be on a rampage this week but who’s keeping score? You are. Are you?

Here’s one thing I know, the score board has already been marked up with a resounding “WON!” via the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords side. There is nothing that can be done to convince you of any truer fact and footing. You have already won, you already have what is, the victory. There isn’t a thing left to be done or left undone that would assure this any further.

It’s time that you not wait until Easter Sunday to act like it. You have all of the victory that you will ever have, today. Holy Week isn’t some morbid reminder of a man’s death, it is, a remembrance of what has already been done.

So whether or not you have the luxury of roaming among the lilies or you find yourself drenched in the mundane’s of life, for you. Here is your reminder that Holy Week and its feelings are necessary and valid. Here is a reminder that there should already be a relative pep in your step because the outcome is that “JESUS WON!” so “YOU WIN!” both now and forever.

Here is your reminder that it is normal for the believer to be fully trusting even amidst uncertainty. It is important to remember that you aren’t living, moving or having your being from a place of striving. There is a form of cruise control that accompanies the believer and the one who has decided to place their full trust in Jesus. Even in uncertainty or what seems to be a fog, don’t apologize for it. You can live assured and unsure at the same time.

You were made to pursue God in peace. We weren’t just made to know God, we were made to experience Him, but it isn’t supposed to be complicated…

Among Lilies: The Motive Behind The Purpose & The Mission

In early 2025 I started a project formally known as “Among the Lillies”.

You can find out more on the topic at the link below:
(it will direct you to our instagram page)

I’ll start this series of blogs with the following declaration:
“You were made to pursue God in peace.”

“…my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:30

This peace is something worth fighting for and it is something worth going after.

A peace that alleviates from distraction. A peace that separates you, and I from all of the lies.

It is a desire to be in peace away from all those who’d rather not pursue what is true; what is God breathed, what is pure, what is delightful, and what is of a good rapport.

Let’s be honest some people, situations and circumstances entire aim is to derail and to deter.

Let’s be even more honest and concur that some environments and some places do not produce the peace that you are longing for.

Some people and some places want nothing more than for you to have unrest and the exact opposite of peace;
so that you do not pursue God that way.

They’d much rather you go to Him frustrated while repeating the same inconsistent cycles over and over again. The good thing or should I say ‘God’ thing for you is that, He has far greater plans.

Some things and people attempt to provoke the exact opposite of peace in you; with the intentions and hopes that you will forget your pursuit of God, all together.

Now onto the book of the Bible:
Song of Songs

– an excerpt from our post:
“I used to be so afraid to read the book of the Bible, Song of Songs. I thought that it was strictly reserved for married lovers. However, a marriage should reflect the Bridegroom’s relationship to His bride. The passion, pursuit and presence found within this books pages also reflects the type of love that we, the bride of Christ are to have with our loving Savior.”
– January 15, 2025

The love reflected in this books exudes a kind of ease, passion, and intensity all at the same time. Which leads me to believe that the act of pursuing God in peace may not always deem itself to be one of smooth sailing.

Yet, in spite of this I know that there is a peace that the women among lilies should be after. I know that her longing, dreaming, planning and pursuits are not in vain.

I know that her hopes for peace as she pursues God’s will in, through and around her life is very practical, and heavenly, and completely attainable, at the same time. I know that the idea of her living among and within what just flows makes sense to her and more than this, it is clear to God.

You were made to pursue God in peace. We weren’t just made to know God, we were made to experience Him, but it isn’t supposed to be complicated…

REGARDING YEAR 2026

GOD’S STARTING AT GOOD

Hey! 👋🏽

So, I want to start by saying I am so glad you are here! I am glad that you made into the new year and even more glad that you are pressing towards your destiny and what is all that God has for you in this new year!

Can we jump right into a few questions?

What makes you think that it could never happen?

What makes you think that it’s impossible?

What makes you believe that you are further than you think you are?

What makes you question if you are even capable? What makes you question God’s will for, on, and over your life?

Are you at ease while navigating this new year?

Are you anxious or are you expectant?

Are you hopeful or are you dreading each day as it passes?

Are you criticizing yourself to the point of being haulted in your ability to move forward?

Are you afraid? Are you seeing yourself correctly? Do you wish you were someone else or even better, somewhere else?

What do you hope will keep you afloat this year? Choosing cruise control or the chase? What satisfies you? What gets you out of bed in the morning? What is on the horizon?

Are you a “slow and steady wins the race” kind of woman? or does “full steam ahead!” seem to resonate more and better suit you?

Whatever or whichever you choose to lean more towards, let me remind you that there is nothing wrong with you. Of course there may be some kinks here and there. They may even need smoothing over immediately and|or over time; but the bigger picture is that your very design and nature has always been tailored and oriented towards good.

Lucky for you, God started there. As elementary as it might seem; that’s where He started concerning you. Now life, and things, may try to compound or thrust themselves upon or over God’s natural design; but that just can’t negate the truth. The truth that God’s starting place concerning you has always been good.

Another lucky for you, is that He always finishes what He started; and if God starts at good His ending place will far exceed that.

He is traditionally known for far exceeding all that you could ever ask, think or imagine. So, throw the pessimism out of the window, along with any negativity and cynicism that might try to attach themselves to you.

Don’t allow what is not defined as good to hold onto you. It’s important that you believe for and in what is true concerning your life.

You are filled with doses of purpose and, as you feed those purposes they grow; and if you feed the negativity, well that grows too.

Here’s something that I understand:

I understand that I may not know what you were put on this earth to do but, I am packed with universal truth concerning all 8billion purposes under heaven.

The truth is applicable to all. The beauty of this is that the 8billion hasn’t decide to wander onto this page, you have! The 8billion isn’t reading this blog as closely as you are and, although these truths are universal only you are reviewing them and, storing them up right now. As the 8billion are being drawn, you’ve been given a head start. Make use of it by just believing all that God has said, written and spoken about you.

Believe that, and run with it into the 2026 year, knocking down every door necessary and bombarding heaven with prayers that first shake your world; the world of those around you, and then nations.

God is so for you! He is so after His purposes for your life. Don’t be let down by unbelief; be unrecognizably hopeful and optimistic in this year. God will shock you as you journey on into your pursuits within this year. You are more than capable and God sees you as good.

Be encouraged!

NAMES OF GOD:

JEHOVAH-NISSI:

THE LORD IS MY BANNER

(Exodus 17:15)

Exodus 17:15

And Moses built an altar and named it, “The LORD Is My Banner.”

Exodus 17:13-16

Building an altar in your life. As the bride of Christ, our altars are key. They represent sacrifice, covenant, connection and commitment. They symbolize the root, origin and starting place of things like memorials, worship, surrender, consecration, safety and a refuge.

The words that accompany the building up of an altar are of equal importance. Every altar that is erected in the Bible is typically done so with words of revelation attached to them.

We want to erect an altar either because of what God has already done or because of something He is doing that is already underway.

The words that accompanied Moses after defeating an opposing army in battle were:

“The LORD Is My Banner.”

When you think about a banner what are the first things that are brought to mind?

I’d have to say that bold writings, making a statement and nothing being in hiding would be the things brought to my mind. I want to say that similar to several large flags raised and flapping by the wind is something that I also think about.

I imagine Moses saying while building the altar:

“The Lord is who I raise when my enemies think I am defeated.”

“The Lord is who I raise when my strength is depleted.”

“The Lord is who I depend on when others believe that my friends are no more and my defenses are weakened.”

“The Lord is who all of this is raised to in the end.”

“The Lord is who encourages others to raise my hands.”

“The Lord is who we stand in representation of.”

‘…and The Lord is the One I am solely dependent on;

and doing things His way produces the reward.”

Here is Your reminder that building an altar is, at times, the only reasonable response for some instances in life.

Here is your reminder the altars you build up within your lifetime towards your bridegroom will speak for you today and into the generations to come. They correct and uproot what was done before you and they serve your children’s children.

Here is your reminder that as the bride of Christ you are equipped to build altars at every milestone and monumental experience in and throughout your lifetime. Here is another reminder that personal relationship with God is also key as you build these altars.

I can only imagine the feelings that Moses had while being the leader of God’s people in this specific story and instance. I can imagine the pit in His stomach when He approached God with the complaints and the testings of God’s people. I could only imagine His desire to come to solutions that only God could provide. I imagine his demeanor and disposition as they came to him with complaint after complaint.

I can also imagine his confidence and clarity when he gave Joshua charge against the people of Israels enemies. I can imagine Moses possible dread of having to go up to a hill. You may wonder why the choice of words? Why would you say the word “dread”?

I’d have to say that if you’ve been walking, running, striving, contending or surrendering to and with the Lord for any specific amount of time you’ll know that some things He ask or requires of you; you don’t generally or even necessarily want to do.

There are moments you can feel and be sure in your thoughts that as much as you really love God you’d rather not take the next step of obedience because of what may be required of you. So as Moses goes up that hill he does so out of covenant and commitment, but what keeps him there isn’t that same thing.

He is there because God’s people are dependent on him. He is there out of the duty and because as long as his hands are raised everything that they are fighting for will also be raised and remain as well. He is there because of something bigger than himself.

He is there because Arron and Hur are committed to him, as well.

It is important for you to know that every altar that surrounds your life will be, or has been erected by your climb; of some metaphoric or literal hill you’ve climbed and remained on until…

Here’s your reminder not to minimize your own altars as His bride.

xoxo,

His Bride, By Design

NAMES OF GOD:

HE IS OUR FOUNDATION (1 CORINTHIANS 3:11)

1 Corinthians 3:11

For no one can lay any foundation other than what has been laid down. That foundation is Jesus Christ.

Is there a foundation better?

That is the question I’d like to pose to you in today’s blog.

Is there a better foundation than that of Jesus Christ? Is there a foundation more suitable than Him?

I’ll answer it for me and, in part speak for the portion of The Bride, I’d hope to influence.

There is no better foundation, no surer hope than that found in Christ The King, His Name is Jesus.

Jesus is, His Name. He is who the entire guarantee of the Christian faith and hope is built upon. He is who we proclaim and profess as our very own. He is who we are fully and unequivocally unashamed of. He is The Messish, The Promised Deliverer, The True and Living God, The Coming King, The One True God and there is no other.

And if He is not who He says He is or, who The Bride says He is; then we, as in the Christian Body and The Bride of Christ are in big trouble.

We know Him as many Names. We know Him as many things as well.

It is a really big claim to say the following words:

For no one can lay ANY foundation other than what has been laid down. THAT foundation is Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ has been laid down, in the natural, He gave His natural body so that you and I could pick up the life He predestined for us to have and to live.

No one took His life but He, laid it down so that we could take up a life built on a foundation greater than any gold, silver or costly stone. Now, with those materials we have been tasked with the assignment of building on the foundation.

The writer in First Corinthians states that “each one is to be careful how he builds on it” and that no one can lay any other foundation. The days disclose of what is being built in each of our lives, it is the brides job to build carefully and appropriately. You have been given one life in the body, in order to do just that. Don’t squander your gifts, skills, talents or abilities  that have been given so graciously, to you. Don’t be shy about using and exhausting the purposes of God towards you here on earth. You have eternity to ponder but only one physical life, here on earth.

Build on the foundation that is Jesus. He has authorized you to know Him and to know the will that He has for your life. He has promised to be the most precious and the most trusted cornerstone of your building. He has promised to be with you always, as you are building.

He promised the Apostle Peter the following words:

“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.”

Matthew 16:18

Peter’s name means Rock and on his name, God promised. What does your name mean? What is the symbolism behind it? Does your name or the story of it have meaning? Has God changed your name like He has of some in the Bible?

No matter your name, you have a life,  and Jesus is dedicated to building on and up your life and your name. Here’s the deal, He, as in Jesus has The Name that is above every name and even with that great claim; He isn’t opposed to making a name for you and of you. He wants to build on the lives who and, that are wholeheartedly devoted to Him. He wants you to shine for His glory and His honor. God is not embarrassed by you, He absolutely and positively wants for you to live a life that hades, as in, the gates of hell can not and will not prevail over. He wants you to live successfully out all that He has predestined for, on and, over your life.

What other foundation wants you to shine as brightly or even greater than it, possibly,  not many.

Here is your reminder that God wants to lead you and guide you into all truth about you and, about Him. God is after you walking and living in your fullest potential.

To you, who believe then, Jesus is precious, more precious than anything that could ever be possessed. Build on this, build on this truth.

1 Peter 2:7

So honor will come to you who believe; but for the unbelieving, The stone that the builders rejected — this one has become the cornerstone,
